Big News: Momo’s Fest is Happening
We’re throwing a block party and music festival!
Hello Friends!
For the past three years, I’ve been running Momo’s, a DIY music venue out of my basement in East Nashville. We’ve hosted dozens of local and touring acts, and it’s become something much bigger than I ever imagined.

When I first moved to this house in Nashville, one of the things that attracted me most to the home was this vision I had for a little music venue. The wood panelled basement from the mid-50s was just begging for community, music, and connection. And it has become exactly that, a little sanctuary for like-minded artists and people.
Now, we’re trying to invest back into the space that’s held so much, and I need your help.
We’re raising funds to invest in:
A permanent PA system (we’ve been borrowing one for years)
Better lighting so we can actually see the artists
An album archive to preserve the music made here
And the ability to keep Momo’s running as a community-first, artist-centered venue
Why It Matters
I believe DIY musicians are going to save the world. They make art without asking permission. They build community without proof of concept. And they keep going, even when the system is built to make them stop.

I used to believe that change was loud. Now I think it’s slow, quiet, and happens in rooms where people feel safe enough to be themselves. Community is one of the most radical things we can create. And that’s what I’m trying to build through my music, my community, and my life. A space where we remember that we are not alone. That joy is sacred. That art matters.
Every show at Momo’s is a gathering. Every artist is treated like they matter, because they do. We’re not just building a venue. We’re building a record of what it means to be here, together, making noise in the world.

If you’ve ever been to Momo’s, played a show here, danced in the basement, or just believe in artist-first spaces, we’d be so grateful for your support.
You can donate, share the campaign, or show up on June 28th for Momo’s Fest, a neighborhood-wide block party and music festival celebrating everything this space stands for.
Every bit helps.
xoxo, Ula
P.S. Not in Nashville? You can still support by donating or sharing the GoFundMe with someone who gets it.
